There are a few simple, quick things you can do to prevent global warming and contribute to Mother Earth’s health.
Here are some:
1. Use CFL light bulbs.
Instead of using regular bulbs, try using compact fluorescent light bulbs. CFL bulbs not only consume less power but also have a longer life cycle.
2. Carpool when you can or go by cycle.
By driving less, you will save fuel and reduce the amount of gas emission being put into the atmosphere.
3. Recycle when you can and use disposable products.
Please don’t throw away recyclable products. And remember: you can recycle almost anything – paper, aluminum foils, cans, etc.
4. Check your tires regularly
Believe it or not, if your tires are not inflated properly, they can consume more fuel, which means that your car will emit more gas into the air. To stop this from happening, check your tires every couple of months.
5. Avoid buying products that come in bulky packaging.
When you buy such products, you throw the waste material in the garbage, and, probably accidentally, pollute the environment. So, try buying products that come in minimal packaging.
6. Turn off electronic devices.
Turn off electronic devices whenever you are traveling for a couple of days or more.
7. Spread the awareness.
Try your best to educate people about global warming and its effects. Educate them on how they can contribute to saving the environment
